My Dino Life Tier Lists
Community reads for an unfinished roster — not official DPS tables.
A tier list for an Early Alpha morph game is a weather report, not a constitution. Primal Park can retune a bite tomorrow. What we can rank honestly is roles: what is safe to learn on, what wins public-server fights, and which skill-tree purchases stop the session from collapsing.
Use the dinosaur tiers page when you are choosing a target morph. Use the upgrade priority page when you are staring at Skill 3 with 120 Cash and a hunter on the ridge.
How these ranks are built
We only rank names the official description or recorded sessions support: Microraptor as the start, T. rex and Titanosaurus as land goals, Mosasaurus as the water goal, plus the unnamed early morphs you pass through on the way. We do not invent a secret S-tier raptor because a different Roblox dino game has one.
Criteria:
- Safety — can a new player hold the morph for ten minutes?
- Farm — can it catch NPCs after one Speed rank?
- PvP — does it win a fair bite trade against common public-server bodies?
- Biome fit — is it stranded on land or useless in water?
Safety and farm matter more than PvP while the build is Early Alpha. A morph that wins fights you never live to take is a thumbnail, not a plan.
Snapshot
| Role | Current read | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | Microraptor | You do not pick it. Play around it. |
| Learning land | Mid land morphs | Better bites, still fragile |
| Land apex | T. rex / Titanosaurus | Wins open ground, hates being kited in water |
| Water apex | Mosasaurus | Ignores some land hunters, beached = dead |
| First upgrade | Speed | Turns NPC chases into Cash |
Details and caveats live on the two child pages so this hub does not pretend to be a 40-row spreadsheet.
How to use a tier list without lying to yourself
If you main Aquatic because Forest is a graveyard, Mosasaurus is S-tier for you even if a land highlight reel says otherwise. The evolution planner exists to lock that decision before you spend a night of orbs. The biome map tells you whether your S-tier can even stand where you like to play.
If you only care about deleting Microraptors during 2x Kill, you already know the answer and you do not need a wiki. This list is for the other 90 percent of the server.

When a patch adds a named dinosaur we can verify, both child pages get a row. Until then, ignore any list that includes Carnotaurus stamina stats or park-egg income. Those are other games wearing this title in a search result.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Early Alpha sessions.
Is this an official Primal Park tier list?
No. It is a community role list for Early Alpha. Official balance notes do not exist yet.
Should I chase Titanosaurus first?
Only if you can hold land. If public Forest is a kill lane, a water career is the smarter S-tier.
Why is Speed ranked above damage?
NPCs flee and players chase. Movement collects Cash and prevents wipes.
Will these tiers change?
Yes, after named roster adds or Skill 3 retunes. Check the child pages after updates.
