Microraptor in My Dino Life

Every public session of My Dino Life begins as a Microraptor. The official Roblox description says you evolve from that body toward Titanosaurus on land or Mosasaurus in water. It does not say the start is a dueling class. It is an orb vacuum with a tiny hitbox and a special that should stay in the holster.

The only job

Collect food orbs until the opening quest completes. Recorded sessions used a count of 15. Each pickup adds XP. Completing the bar unlocks more HUD, including the Shop where codes live. If the Shop button is missing, you are still in the tutorial tick — that is not a broken game, and it is not a reason to wander into a T. rex.

Ignore other dinosaurs until the bar fills. A stranger in a later morph treats a Microraptor as a snack, especially under a 2x Kill banner. Read public PvP if you want the rule in writing: other players can bite you the entire time.

Controls on this body

Desktop: M1 bite, R special. Mobile: tap plus the on-screen special. The longer map is controls. On a Microraptor, R is a quick peck-style bite. Use it on a leftover NPC if you must. Do not open with it on a player. You will lose the trade and the orb line.

Movement is the real special. Stay near cover. Forest is where most people spawn and die. If the trail is a graveyard, slide toward a quieter pocket or commit to Aquatic early — that fork is land vs water.

Cash before pride

Redeem RELEASE for 100 Cash as soon as Shop unlocks. Buy Speed first. Community sessions show early Speed nodes around 75 Cash, then later ranks in the hundreds. That math is why the launch code exists. Spending the stack on a skin tease from the Skill 3 update is how you stay slow and edible.

Do not farm players for Cash. Farm NPCs after the first evolve, as the Cash guide describes. A Microraptor that chases silhouettes is donating XP to the server.

Leaving the starter

When the evolve prompt appears, take it. Staying small on a 30-player public server is how you become event farm. Death is not a full account wipe — Cash stays — but the morph may drop. Extra Life pickups did not keep the current form in the August recording. Plan the next body before you need it: a land stair toward T. rex or Titanosaurus, or a water stair toward Mosasaurus.

Mistakes that eat the first ten minutes

• Joining a lookalike place. Confirm Primal Park and place 129692563688057 on official links. Codes from My Dino Park or Dinosaur Life fail here — see wrong dinosaur game.
• Standing still to watch a larger morph flex.
• Fighting during 2x Kill because the banner looks like a quest. It is weather. Details sit on events.
• Skipping the orb quest to “explore.” Shop, events, and the rest of the HUD are thinner until that tick completes.

Microraptor is not a main. It is a door. Walk through it, spend the Cash on Speed, and pick a biome on purpose. The starter checklist is the same list as boxes if you want to tap along.
