My Dino Life Controls

Primal Park printed the only official control card on the Roblox description: M1 Bite and R Special. That is enough to start a fight and not enough to finish a session. This page maps the rest of the HUD so you are not spinning the camera while a Titanosaurus closes in.

Roblox shift-lock helps on land because bite aim matters. It hurts in water if you are not used to swimming with the camera glued to the nose. Try both for one minute in a quiet pocket.

Mobile layout

Mobile replaces M1 with a tap or an attack button and replaces R with a special icon. The joystick covers the lower left; Shop and the skill tree usually sit on the right. If Codes is clipped, rotate to landscape. Paste codes instead of thumb-typing SORRYFORBUGS over a chase.

Performance on phones is part of the control scheme. Early Alpha hitching during a morph animation is how people die. Lower graphics if the evolve prompt stutters. A pretty Forest is not worth a wipe.

Menu binds that feel like they are missing

The Codes box is not a key. It is a Shop tab. The how to redeem page exists because players look for a keyboard shortcut that Primal Park never shipped.

The evolve prompt is not R. R is the combat special. Pressing R when the bar is full will fire a move, not a morph. That mistake is funny once.

The skill tree is not the pause menu. Closing Roblox settings will not buy Speed. Open the in-game tree and spend Cash as described on the skill tree guide.

Combat hygiene

• Bite in short clicks. Holding M1 through a miss leaves you planted.
• Fire R when the target is committed, not when they are a silhouette on the horizon.
• After a morph, spend ten seconds pressing R at the air so you know the new timing.
• Do not open Shop mid-chase. Move, then menu, as the survival guide keeps repeating.

Camera and sound

Sound cues matter more than the sparse official UI. Orb pickups and nearby bites tell you whether to turn. If you play muted on mobile, you will get ambushed from off-screen. Headphones are a control.

Camera collision in Forest is the other silent killer. Zoom out one notch so a trunk cannot hide a T. rex shoulder. In Aquatic, tilt up when you surface so you see land hunters waiting on the bank.

Accessibility notes

There is no official color-blind mode documented. Orbs glow; if you still cannot see them, change Roblox brightness before you assume the spawn is empty. There is no official remapping beyond Roblox’s own keybinds. If M1 is uncomfortable, remap left click at the client level, not inside a random script. The scripts hub is not a keybind tool.

Once the binds are muscle memory, spend attention on biomes and Cash. Buttons do not evolve you. Orbs and a quiet camera do.
