Redeem My Dino Life Codes

Shop first, then Codes — the box is not on the pause menu.

How to Redeem Codes

Players lose more time hunting the Codes button than they lose to expired strings. In My Dino Life the redeem box lives inside the Shop, not on the Roblox escape menu and not on the first tutorial tooltip. If you just spawned as a Microraptor, finish the opening food-orb task so the Shop icon is actually clickable.

This page is the mechanical walkthrough. The live list sits on the codes hub. If you already know the clicks and only want new strings, skip to where to find codes.

The exact click path

  1. Launch My Dino Life from the official Roblox place by Primal Park. Confirm the title on the loading card so you did not join My Dino Park by accident.
  2. Survive long enough to finish the first collect quest (about 15 food orbs). Several menu buttons stay dim until that tick.
  3. Open the Shop from the in-game HUD.
  4. Select the Codes control inside that Shop panel.
  5. Type or paste the string exactly. RELEASE is all caps. SORRYFORBUGS is all caps with no spaces.
  6. Press Redeem and watch the Cash counter, not the chat. A success bumps Cash immediately.

If nothing changes, do not mash Redeem twenty times. Recheck spelling, strip spaces, and confirm you are not pasting a tycoon code from a different dinosaur title.

What a success looks like

RELEASE adds 100 Cash. That is enough to open the first Speed-related skill-tree purchase in many sessions, or to sit just short of a later node if you already spent starter coins. SORRYFORBUGS was redeemed on camera as a revive / extra-life refill. Your HUD may label that as Extra Life rather than Cash. Both outcomes are useful; they are not interchangeable.

Cash does not expire after you claim it. A wiped dinosaur can still spend the same wallet. That is why redeeming before you explore a 2x Kill event is rational: the currency survives the death, the current morph might not.

Mobile versus desktop

On a phone, the Shop icon can hide behind the joystick or the evolution prompt. Rotate to landscape if the Codes row is clipped. Paste from the Roblox chat or from this wiki; hunting the on-screen keyboard for underscores is how people invent typos that do not exist.

On desktop, click the text box once before you paste. Some Roblox UI widgets ignore the first paste if focus is still on the 3D world. After Redeem, glance at the skill tree. If Cash rose and the next Speed node unlocked, you are done.

When the Shop button is missing

Early Alpha UI is unfinished. If you cannot see Shop:

  • Complete the orb quest the tutorial line asks for.
  • Die and respawn once; a few sessions only paint the full HUD after the first death.
  • Check that you joined the Primal Park place, not a copycat with a similar thumbnail.

A missing button is not proof that codes were removed. The official description still tells players to use RELEASE.

Spend the Cash on purpose

Redeeming and then buying a cosmetic or a late-game morph you cannot control is a common first-hour mistake. Read upgrade priority before you tap the expensive node. Speed lets you catch NPCs, and NPC kills are the repeatable Cash source after codes. The how to farm Cash guide explains that loop without pretending codes will carry an entire evolution path.

If public-server hunters keep interrupting the Shop animation, move to water or a quieter edge of Forest, open the menu, then return to the hunt. You do not need a special biome to redeem.
